Bogazliyan Sugar Factory with 10.000 tons/day sugar beet handling capacity which has been awarded by Kayseri Sugar Factory Co. to (OYAK - EKON – PROKON Joint Venture) - FIVES CAIL - MAGUIN Consortium, has been completed and Temporary Acceptance Certificate has been obtained on 13.December.2007.
The factory was put into trial operation in 2006-2007 campaign. This year during the first campaign of the factory which has started on 24.September.2007, 600.000 tons of sugar beet has been sliced and 81.000 tons of sugar, 20.000 tons of molasses and 130.000 tons of pulp has been produced.
